Het Boerenerf Beau et Joli
Appearance
Description
Beau et Joli is made of Gamay wine previously vinified and aged to preserve freshness, blended with 2-year-old lambic at a ratio of about 40% wine-to-lambic. It was created in collaboration with Marc from Château de Durette (Beaujolais) and the grapes were grown on the Régnié terroir, one of the 10 crus of the AOC Beaujolais.
It is only bottled in 750 mL format and listed as 8.4% ABV.
History / Other Notes
A variant called Belle et Jolie exists as well, which is basically the same beer aged further and bottled still with a slightly higher ABV.
