Overview
Every other year, Cantillon hosts Quintessence, an event celebrating food and beer at the brewery. Entrance to the event is staggered throughout the day. Tickets for specific times are sold in advance and they do sell out.
In 2014, Cantillon invited the Russian River and Allagash breweries to participate in Quintessence. In addition to beers from all three breweries being served, a Friendship Blend (Cantillon Assemblage de l'Amitié) was available, which was an equal blend of the spontaneously fermented beers from each of the three breweries.
