It was created in collaboration with Marc from Château de Durette (Beaujolais) and the grapes were grown on the Régnié terroir, one of the 10 crus of the AOC Beaujolais.

A variant called Belle et Jolie exists as well, which is basically the same beer aged further and bottled still with a slightly higher ABV.
