It was released as a signed and numbered limited edition of 150 small bottles (Kriek, 375ml) and 150 large bottles (Rosé, 750ml) - the format and amount of Gueuze bottles is unknown at the time of writing.
The name is in reference to 'Het B-Gevaar', a former Brussels-based comic book store that was named after the second album in the 'Nero' series of Belgian comic strips.
The label was designed by comic book artist Alec Severin, who also designed the logo for the store. Every bottle is hand-signed by him.
According to Jean Van Roy, the bottles were sold out of the brewery without labels and then applied by Het B-Gevaar.
Floris 'Flosh' Peiren, a volunteer tour guide at Cantillon and lifelong comic strip fan and customer of Het B-Gevaar, the store was re-named to 'Expo 58' in a company restructuring and its owner - Erik - has since passed away.
All of the store's fixed assets were sold in an estate sale after bankruptcy, which is how the bottles made it out on the public market.
