	Founded in Overmere in 1886 as “Brasserie Sept Etoiles" by the widow of J.E. Baeten-Van Heymbeeck. The family also owned an adjacent oil mill, in which a steam installation was added in 1850, that provided electricity to the village center. Leopold Frans Baeten (b.1865, Dworp) and Robert Baeten later owned the brewery.
