Description

Zwanze 2015 is Cantillon's interpretation of a spontaneously fermented stout.

History / Other Notes

Zwanze 2015, or Wild Brussels Stout, was brewed in March of 2013 and was potentially a candidate to be served for the Zwanze Day celebration in 2014, but was held back until 2015. It was the 27th brew of the 2012-2013 season. The beer was aged for 28 months using three types of barrels: 50% used lambic barrels, 25% first-use Côtes du Rhône barrles, and 25% first-use Cognac barrels. The label artwork was created by Jean Goovaerts.
