Oude Geuze Boon
Description
Oude Geuze Boon is a regularly released geuze by Boon. It is available in 250 mL capped bottles, 375 mL and 750 mL corked and caged bottles, and 20 L kegs. It is labeled as 7% ABV.
History / Other Notes
Boon's Oude Geuze (previously labeled as Geuze Boon or Geuze F. Boon) is a blend of 90% mild 18-month old lambic, 5% strong 3 year-old lambic, and 5% young lambic. The final blend takes place in 25,000 liter tanks where the final blend is stored cold. At bottling, the geuze is returned to fermentation temperature in order to start a secondary fermentation in the bottle. [1] [2]
