History

Symbiose was founded on March 26th, 2020. Klaas Jan Geertsema, Chiel Westra and Erik Drijfhout, three friends who were active as hobby brewers under the name Mara, continued brewing and blending on a very small scale and experiment with different beer styles, locally sourced and freshly picked fruit and combinations with cider, nature wine and mead. Most of their blends contain beer from Vandenbroek, another local brewer and blender.
