Oude Gueuze Tilquin à l'ancienne - Lambic vieillis en fûts de Whisky is composed of a blend of 1, 2, & 3-year-old lambics.
The 2-year old portion spent a year maturing in Scotch whisky barrels before being blended with 1 and 3-year-old at a final 8.3% ABV.
History / Side Notes
This release was more limited than inteneded as 3 out of 6 barrels turned bad and had to be infected with acetic acid, and only about 1000 L remained, producing a total of 1,173 bottles.
