Jef Colruyt and Frank Boon joined forces for this unique blend in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Boon brewery. Jef and Frank have been friends since their childhood in the 1970s, when they used to deliver geuze and other specialty beers together in Brussels and the surrounding area, before Frank began brewing himself. This friendship grew through the years into a shared love of craftsmanship, and local cooperation.
The lambic used for this special one-time Oude Geuze was carefully selected by Jef Colruyt and the Boon family (Frank as well as his sons, Jos and Karel), combining years of expertise with a fresh touch — a symbol of past and future generations of Boon.
