Description
Oude Gueuze Pajottinga is a gueuze brewed for The Brett House Janssens, a project by Roel Janssens of café Paddenbroek in Gooik (also behind Geuze Pajottegem, brewed at Lambiek Fabriek - Roel is related to both Lambiek Fabriek and Den Herberg).
It is bottled in both 75cl and 375ml at 6.7% ABV.
History / Side-Notes
The idea for this blend came from Roel Janssens from Rock & Roell Experience (also owner of the café "Fiets‑ & Wandelcafé Paddenbroek" in Gooik). It is marketed under the Brett House Janssens brand.
The name comes from Pagotta (a German tribal name that might derive from "Pajot") and -inga, meaning "descending from".
