Description

Boon Vat 122 Monoblend is a geuze containing lambic from foeder #59 brewed on October 7th, 2019, and bottled on April 19th, 2021. It was released in 375 mL bottles and is labeled as 8% ABV. It was released in the "VAT Discovery Box 2022" along with bottles of Vat 16 Monoblend, Vat 59 Monoblend, and Vat 93 Monoblend, and a tasting manual.

History / Other Notes

VAT 122 / Foeder n° 122 is one of BOon's largest foeders (about 25 000 L), and used to carry red wine. This particular blend comes from the foeder's third fill, and compred to previous blends, gives more room to Boon's microflora and character, very mellow with notes of almond, soft oak and slightly vinous.
