Description
A Gueuze that has undergone an additional year of barrel aging in old oxidative Pineau des Charentes casks (a fortified wine from the southwest of France made from about 3/4 grape must and 1/4 Cognac, it can come as red or rosé as well as white which is usually drier). The long oxidative process of the original wine creates barrels with a unique complexity, working very well with lambic.
