Description

Cantillon BLIPA is a highly dry-hopped lambic made by Cantillon in 2018. It stands for Brussels Lambic IPA. In June of 2018 Jean announced via Facebook that this "Zwanze before Zwanze" would be served on draft at Moeder Fontainas during the first Belgian match of World Cup 2018. This beer was meant to be a take on the various styles of Hazy IPAs. Approximately 30 kegs were filled on May 24th, 2018.

History / Side Notes

This beer was only done once as a joke, the idea came from the opening party at L'Ermitage brewery close to Cantillon, ehen so many visitors brought hazy IPAs to share, which the team found funny.

It was dry-hopped using a blend of fresh hop flowers consisting of Citra, Cascade, and 50% Hallertau MittelFrüh.
