Description
Unblended Saint Lamvinus is a version of Cantillon Saint Lamvinus that was taken from a single barrel and contained no priming sugar to spark refermentation in the bottle. There were a few kegs and a limited number of bottles filled.[1]
History / Other Notes
The idea came about when Stene at Akkurat and Jean Van Roy discussed this beer and thought that an uncarbonated Saint Lamvinus may let the fruit flavors come through better. Unblended Saint Lamvinus was bottled once in 2004 and sent to the Swedish beer bar. Because Akkurat received both regular and unblended St Lamvinus that year, a note of "stilla" (flat) was added to the unblended version.[1]
