Description

Cantillon Muscat Petits Grains is a lambic made using 300 g/L of Muscat Petits Grains grapes (in wine, it usually displays notes of linden, honey, lemon and dried fruits; and it can be used in a wide range of styles from very dry to sweet or carbonated) from Domaine de l'Escapolette.

History / Side Notes

This beer came to be as Jean Van Roy wanted to switch grapes from the regular offering of Vigneronne, which at the time was using Muscat table grapes. A few trials were made with different grape varietals, including this one, a variant of Muscat.
