Description
La Dernière Cuvée Du 89 is a dry-hopped 2-year-old lambic similiar to Cuvée des Champions.
History / Other Notes
La Dernière Cuvée Du 89 is a special bottling for Le Bier Circus, a bar in Brussels, released in 2005. The namesake for this beer derives from the original address of the bar at 89 Rue de l'Enseignement before the bar was forced to close down and move to a new location.
It is said to be dry-hopped with Tettnang and Golding hops. Jean Van Roy says that it is possible, but neither him or his father[1] have clear memories of it and notes weren't kept at the time, so they couldn't confirm.
